Responsibilities

What You Will Accomplish

Create technical 2D and 3D models:

Based in our Lille office, located in the city center, you will join a collaborative and agile team to produce technical drawings and BIM models for building mechanical systems. You will be responsible for the design, modeling, and layout of HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.

  • Produce 2D drawings and 3D models (ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, heating) from sketches, engineering calculations, specifications, and other draft data
  • Develop and maintain BIM component libraries (technical families)
  • Prepare technical and cost-related elements for each design phase, integrating project constraints
  • Contribute to defining system sizing and layout requirements
  • Perform or verify quantity take-offs and schedules in accordance with project conventions and applicable BIM standards
  • Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with industry standards and construction codes
  • Update and modify existing BIM models as required
  • Adhere to project timelines and schedules
  • Participate in coordination and progress meetings
  • Develop tools and workflows to improve modeling efficiency and productivity
  • Stay up to date with the latest methods and technologies in the field (e.g., digital twins and operational BIM)

Education and Certifications :

  • Post-secondary degree (BTS/DUT or equivalent, Bac +2/3) in mechanical design, electrotechnics, electrical engineering, or any other relevant field
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in BIM modeling for HVAC projects (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing)
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Software proficiency: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred Qualifications (not required):
    • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
    • Experience in modeling for building structural projects
