Our History

First Major Contract: Certification of the New CHUM

Founded in Montreal by Étienne Rogeau, NEOKA quickly secured its first major contract: the certification of the new CHUM. Simultaneously, the company began a renovation project in the pharmaceutical sector and welcomed Serge Bureau as a partner, strengthening its core team of experts.

NEOKA Expansion

NEOKA continued its growth, acquiring new clients, particularly in healthcare, and winning a key project for the MTA in New York. The company surpassed five permanent employees and entered the water treatment market.

Navigating the Crisis

Despite construction stoppages caused by the pandemic, NEOKA maintained operations through energy efficiency studies and strategic projects for the Montreal Transit Agency. The team’s agility and resilience ensured continuity during this critical period.

A Strategic Turning Point

NEOKA launched its French subsidiary, joined the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canada, expanded its partner network, and successfully completed the certification of CHUM Phase 2.

Launch of Operations in France

NEOKA officially started its European operations with projects in Lille, Brussels, and Paris. The French team, composed of four experts, marked the beginning of an active presence in Europe.

NEOKA Project Services USA

Following a successful business mission in Florida, Étienne Rogeau established NEOKA Project Services USA in Miami. The goal: bring North American expertise to the Floridian market (high-performance buildings, data centers, hospitality, and commercial projects) with structured and reliable engineering in a rapidly growing environment. NEOKA stands out for agile, precise, and collaborative engineering designed to support sustainable transformation.

Born from the shared vision of five partners, NEOKA Energies represents the natural evolution of the group, combining engineering and execution. Specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and technical networks, the company delivers turnkey projects where technical design, planning, and management converge to achieve accurate, efficient, and sustainable outcomes. Its mission: simplify implementation for clients while ensuring full coherence between design, construction, and commissioning.
